torso practice, havent drawn figures for awhile. I call it, "Luke"

so far the monster drawing class is, not as rigorous as i had hoped it would be, thought there would be more observing animals/learning anatomy. but the trip to the ty warner's and the orchid estate were pretty fun. i'll upload some of those sketches along with the winter retreat stuff later on (i'll get to it! i swear!)

started out thinking gorilla, sketched a squirrel head, wanted some white fur. I'm not really sure how to nail down my thinking process but it churns out some pretty fun stuff every now and then. I call it the squirrel-thing.

hopefully ill be able to get back on track once a day!

sry, been too out of touch with my blog. heres a sketch i did from an idea sheldon had when we were trying to come up with ideas, "ruins+waterfall+city" something like that. not exactly good work, in fact this took much longer than it should have as just a sketch.. probably around 1 hour. need to start painting more again.

and.. i still have to post the sketches from winter retreat.. sry, ill get to that before the end of the year..
